The Light Shines Through

No double exposure, no image overlay, just a few light sources stuck into one of those dense, big-leaved tropical bushes, and a bit of fiddling around with Nik's Color Efex. 

Visiting these families along the highway is - again - taking it's toll on my emotions. I woke up at 3:30 AM, exhausted but unable to get back to sleep. If hearing those stories is difficult, imagine having to live them. I have to constantly remind me that the light always shines through. Sometimes you just have to remember to switch it on/help to make it visible.
