Amsterdam

Our ship arrived in port around 9.30am - just time for us to have breakfast before jumping on a coach in to Amsterdam.

We had just over 4 hours sightseeing time so decided the best way to see as much of the city as possible was to do a canal cruise. We stayed on it for about 3/4 of the route before getting off near Anne Frank's house. I'd tried to buy tickets on line a few weeks ago but they were sold out. I wanted to show Ethan her house anyway though and told him a bit of her story.

We then meandered back through the streets of Amsterdam, stopping off at a pancake house for lunch, before catching the coach back to the ship.

Ethan played for a while in the Kidz Club but as he was desperate to go to the cinema on the ship, we bought tickets for Beauty & The Beast. It didn't finish till just before 10pm and he was practically asleep on my lap by then! What an adventure today has been for him!
