Four Seasons in One Day...

We've had it all today, sunshine, rain, wind, dark clouds, blue skies and everything in between.  Thankfully for the latter part of the afternoon it's been lovely and David has gone off to get the car washed in Crieff, which gives him the perfect excuse to stop at the golf driving range on the way home.  He thinks I button up the back :-))

Quite a productive day here today.  A few errands run, a massive cupboard in the small bedroom cleared out.  We are learning to be quite ruthless and it feels good.  

Alan the electrician was here most of the day and he's ceiling light up in the garden room above the dining table.  I am really happy with it.  Another little  item ticked off the list.  He's also started work on changing the extractor fans upstairs in our ensuite and the bathrooms of the two spare rooms.  New ducting is also required in all of them at the loft side and new exits will have to be made in the roof as whoever did them previously has, well to put it politely, not done it right (don't get me started)  so once again, something that should have been a fairly quick, easy and cheap job has turned into a longer, more laborious, expensive job.  Still I will sleep better at night knowing it's all done properly.
