Blocking

A great day at an amazing facility -the Richmond Olympic Oval - and awesome volleyball!  Kalyn's team won 2 of 3 games and overall the girls played very well.  We're looking forward to the games tomorrow, starting with the quarter finals.   This is Kalyn (#17) and a team mate blocking.
Kalyn was one of twelve girls who received a 2017 Club Season All-Star award!  She was shocked!  I'll be blipping her with her all-star t-shirt and award soon.  The paragraph on the award reads:
Volleyball BC presents season all-star awards to athletes who throughout the course of the club season show excellent sportsmanship, leadership, exceptional volleyball skills and contribution to a positive team environment at Volleyball BC tournaments.
Very proud of her!
