A slice of Lesley's life

Head spinning

I'm writing quickly as Carl heads to the bar and we await my brother and his wife in their local which is the noisiest pub I have been in for a long time. It's right on the river and the sun is shining so I guess that's it. Lawd alone knows what it was like on Boat Race day. Well actually myself from about 15 years ago would know but in my old age I have sensibly wiped such memories.

The photo is me acting as scribe for Anna's SATs Busters homework. I have learned what a prepositional phrase and an adverbial phrase are. Won't make me use them any more. Or indeed any less but now I can underline them in a test.

And final bit of head spinning was making sense of who had sent what and what was missing for the Year 6 Leavers's Book. Which they had better all treasure with all their precious little hearts.

Now to spend an evening yelling to my companions over soft rock.
