A slice of Lesley's life

Jackson and Carlos did maths between them and I did English comprehension. Physio tomorrow and, as much fun as it has been, hopefully by next weekend we will be back to that independent homework thingy.

Active morning of dog walk and runs (of different durations) for me and Carlos. Everywhere was super quiet leading us to suspect we were the only people in W4 not running the marathon.

Home for arrival of my parents. They are essentially down for the day to hang out and watch football (FA cup semi-final and El Clasico). Fortification has been provided by a roast chicken lunch with extra yorkshires and a buffet tea a la Christmas. Though with the significant difference of eating it in the garden in blazing sunshine with a glass of rose.

Bonus activity of the day was my dad bringing down his Karcher leading to a very satisfying time pretending I was in an advert as I transformed our front garden. I especially enjoyed the part when I was cleaning 140 year old tiles and feeling like an archeologist.

For added value in the Clasico my dad has made a series of random bets which are keeping us all highly amused. Unfortunately one of them involves Ronaldo scoring with a header but we suspect he has spent too much on his hairdo for that to happen. Either that or he's winding my dad up.

A very lovely Sunday.
