La Vie en Rose

It’s been four years but here I am again. All three of M-C’s children turned up today, though S texted at 6am to say he was out till late 'last night' so might be late for lunch. It was great to see them all and meet the next grandchild.
 
The sun has vanished so I’m deprived of the high contrast shadows I’ve been enjoying for the last few days but this morning’s market did its best to make up for it. I quite liked the sign about feral children too (extra).
 
This evening five of us went to Buster Keaton’s ‘The General’ with a live orchestra. Such impressive timing from the musicians!
