Not the London Marathon!

The Southampton marathon, half marathon and 10k was today; shame it was the same day as the London marathon but it was great to see as always. This is the first year there has been a marathon, previously it has been a half marathon and 10k only. The marathon runners set off at 9 and the half marathon at 10, we watched both come through ... conveniently right past my front door! This photo is of runners in the half marathon. Saw my friend Ruth running as well as other people we knew, a great sight. Am full of admiration for people able to do it. Brilliant. The extra photos show a couple more, the first is some marathon runners and the second is a photo of runners struggling up the steep hill just past my house. Mean of the organisers, previously they ran down this hill!
