Tea for Two

Gorgeous day today. Took the dog for a walk on the Ashdown Forest this afternoon and then had tea and scones at Duddleswell Tea Rooms - one of my favourite places.

It's been a Tea Room since since 1936. In fact we overheard the people at the next table say they had been coming there since 1946 ... that's satisfied customers for you! You get pots of proper leaf tea and plenty of hot water to top up, all the scones and cakes etc are home made on the premises and are absolutely yummy. As well as being the perfect tea room, they also welcome walkers with dogs: when they brought our tea there was a plate with two doggy biscuits for Mrs Woo.
