Saint George

A little touring in the neighbourhood of Chania into the mountains / hills more over and there we were encircled several times by flocks of sheep and their shepperds steering them up. My friend told me he'd not ever seen so many sheep together before and then remembered... that the sheep flocks are brought together at the church of Saint George here in the valley to be blessed before they're sent out to the slopes of the hills for the Season ~  it rained alright this weekend; the liquids the soil here welcomes so much, as for the last few years it rained too little.
