Dappled Light

Walking has taken a bit of a back seat since we returned from Wales a week ago because of the decorating and decluttering.
Put that right this morning by taking an early morning walk down to the river.
It's a circular walk and today l did it in reverse as it always amazes me how different things can look from a different angle.
When l got to the river l saw two herons but sadly don't have any zoom on my lens to capture it
Cowslips, bluebells, wild garlic and forget me nots were scattered all along the way so lots of lovely photographic opportunities were presented.
But when l came go the huge chestnut tree l had to look up to see the sun dappled leaves.
The tree has a really wide spread and l stood under its canopy for quite a while marvelling at its size.
It's always a popular spot for collecting conkers in the Autumn.
Home now and just sorting out the bathroom cupboards until Mr P gets back from his run.
Then we shall press on and declutter his wardrobe, will be interesting to see if he gets rid of as many clothes as l did last week!
