Promise of things to come

One of the highlights in my garden last year was great views of a Scarlet tiger moth...so I was really pleased today to find a caterpillar in one of the flower beds. I think it has been feeding mainly on comfrey and green alkenet, but today it seemed to be exploring a range of other plants. I hope there are more hidden in the vegetation and I now have an established colony.
