The accidental finding

By woodpeckers

Between hailstorms...

the sun shone on the cabin and the wisteria! Don't be fooled, though, it was bitterly cold. As it still is.
We are discussing whether to dig our thermals out again tomorrow.

The children returned to nursery, and the class of '17 returned to Stonehouse community centre. This term it's a non-WEA course, and the subject is reading paintings and portraits in the 1600s. Plenty of film and social history thrown in. Today's topic was the depiction of Shakespeare's Ophelia in portraits and film. At this point I realised I'd neither read nor watched Hamlet, ever!
Plenty of scope for catching up, now...I might start with the 2009 version by the RSC with David Tennant and Patrick Stewart.

Back home, after the first hailstorm, CleanSteve was discussing photos with his friend Camilla. They were about finished when there was a knock on the door, and DailyKeith walked in! A tripod blippers! He stayed and chatted for an hour or two; i.blipoed the wisteria before the second storm, then I burned some shallots, which were supposed to be slow roasting in balsamic vinegar, for the risotto. Bah! Just call me The lady of Singed Shallots.
