"Shutting shop"

Tuesday 25th April 2017 (1704)

Because I had an off day yesterday I had rather a lot to do today but I got through it. Set off over the Pennines a little later than intended. 

There was a gorgeous sunset as I travelled along the last bit of the motorway. Imagine seeing through these houses and down into the valley, with gorgeous clouds and orange and yellow colours! Unfortunately when I arrived at Mum's it had all gone and I only managed a quick snap on the phone. 

The title is inspired by Elspeth's comment yesterday. I am now shutting shop, emails are off and I am properly on holiday. We set off tomorrow morning for a long drive South... watch this space.
