Another wander around the ever-interesting harbour at Peterhead. This morning the place was packed with fishing boats presumably taking shelter from yesterday's very rough seas. These modern trawlers are truly massive and must have to catch a prodigious number of fish to be profitable.
The "extra" is a shot across the bulbous bow of one of the super trawlers, the Kings Cross. The world was slightly re-arranged in the making of this photograph! The view is across the Bay of Refuge with Buchan Ness light on the horizon. At bottom right you can see another professional fisherman, a large bull grey seal.
