Day One - Crossing the Strait

A long day! Up at 6 am, on the road at 8 am and the ferry across Cook Strait at 1.30pm. Arriving at hotel in Wellington at 6pm.
This pic is on the InterIslander ferry, following a BlueBridge ferry out of Picton. I was waiting to take pics of Wellington harbour as we sailed in but before we got close enough we were sent below to wait in our coach until ready to drive off. So missed the prettiest bit of the trip.
