HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
And thank you very much for a lovely day. We headed out to Queensferry, boarded the Forth Belle, and headed for Inchcolm Island. On the way we saw Grey Seals resting on a marker buoy and on the island itself, there were literally thousands of Seagulls who weren't too happy to see us. I think it was probably their mating season and they didn't want to be disturbed. After a picnic lunch at the Abbey, we spotted geese, Eider duck and, on the way back, we were treated to a sighting of puffins which was a first for me. We sailed under the three bridges crossing the River Forth, each of them marking the last three centuries. The Queensferry Crossing is about to open later this year. I came back with far too many photographs to choose from so I've put a selection in the extras, enjoy!
