sea of stars

Busy day at work. Spent the morning learning about the practicalities of getting the permanent residency card and becoming a UK citizen. I will sort out the former as it should be relatively straightforward. I will wait and see about the latter. Boys are off to an overnight hike. We got nachos and beer in our most favourite pub. On the way home the city smelled of summer - the slightly wet pavement gives off a smell of dust and not sure what else. Something I very much associate with Edinburgh and sitting on the Crags drinking tinnies as a student.
