These were bought a week ago by my pal for mum as we had last weekend with the folks. I'm back this weekend and they still look good, mum has a trick to keep the gerberas from drooping as she cuts them down to the same height of the rim of the vase so they are supported. My pal said that at some florists they carefully insert a wire up into the stem to stop the droop, which is clever. As they say, every day's a school day.
