yellow saturday

We made an error in travelling to Southend this morning - we thought it was market day but hadn't realised  April had 5 saturdays, and the market is held on the 2nd and 4th saturdays of each month! Oops!! Must plan better next time, although it was nice and empty along the seafront despite the sun shining so thankfully the tourists and daytrippers seem to leave it late visiting!

Planted up some wildflowers today around the pond so this lovely meadow buttercup was already in bloom! Hoping it all helps attract more wildlife!
