Alive and kicking .....

Another cattle based day. Had everything to feed myself as it was meant to be old Bill's weekend on but he is still off with a bad back. No doubt it will be on the mend for his holidays next week .
This heifer was on calving at lunch time . It just needed a wee help with the calving jack. It was up on its feet and in sucking fairly soon so quite pleased.
The last of the heifers was on tonight and required a bit more of a pull , but it is out and alive. I have just stomach tubed it with a couple of litres of colostrum and put it and mum in a pen for the night.
Hopefully that's it for tonight. In true Magic Roundabout style " time for bed said Zebadee ! "
