Work in ( slow) progress.....

One of those days again. The lads arrived to start laying the new flooring in the living room only to discover there was no underlay. So a 2 man trip to Penicuik to collect it. Then they discovered their nail gun wasn't in the van so man number 3 had to bring it out to them . Then as it's a Friday they all knocked off at 3pm.
A morning spent tagging calves next door . By the time that was done it was lunch time. Just sat down when the vet arrived to treat a sick cow. While he was here the lorry arrived to collect 7 heifers for Dumfries., so it was a case of having to wait for the vet to finish before we could load them. By that time it was 2.30pm and my dinner was well dried out on top of the Aga . At least the terrier hadn't managed to nick it !
