Young people walk too!

Today's long walk was 14 miles from Newbrough on day 2 of the Roman  Round.

32 of us set out, on a cloudy, dull day, and enjoyed a lovely day of walking.
Most of our walkers are of a certain age, but today our group included 4 young people. I've taken a photo of them along with James who was on the team.

After the walk, I've been to Brian's birthday meal at the Forge in Haltwhistle. They do excellent food, but the service is incredibly slow.

I'm home now and have fallen asleep three times at the keyboard while I try to type this and post it.
