Alyssum wonder

It was interesting day at school today.  We had assembly first to inform students of a car accident death of one of our past students during the holidays and to prepare them for the funeral and grieving process.  Lots of hugs were given out.  The young man was well liked by both students and teachers.  I did intend to go and stand on the street corner for a Mono Monday F8 but instead came home for a coffee and a quick walk around the garden.  I spied a monarch butterfly had hatched but unfortunately it's wings were damaged.  I put it onto some plants for food and will see how it is tomorrow.  Infront of these plants were the alyssum which made a nice photo.
