Haka

It was an emotional roller coaster day.  Lots of senior students needing hugs and chat, as well as staff.  The funeral was heart wrenching, our
1st XV proudly did our high school haka for the lovely young man who was a valued member of their team which brought many us to tears.  18 is far too young to leave his family and friends.  

One bright note of the day was when I arrived at school and one of the year 13 students asked for a hug and then said he had some good news...he had been asked and accepted into the army to do his mechanics training.  I told him that deserved another hug and that I was so proud of him!  

Thankfully the day is over, tomorrow and new one begins.
