Blair Athol Distillery
We went to have a tour of the Blair Athol Distillery at Pitlochry this afternoon. They distill Blair Athol single malt whisky there, which is used in Bell's whisky :-) Because of the explosion danger because of the whisky/alcohol fumes you're not allowed to take pictures inside the distillery. I managed to take a shot with people outside on f/8 for today's MonoMonday challenge set by SkiMe, with thanks to him for an interesting challenge (especially as I really don't do street photography normally, loathe to have my picture taken unaware, so don't want to capture others unaware of it either). These Slovenian tourists (they were in our tour) are distant enough to be unrecognisable, I hope. The picture is converted to mono through Nik Silver Efex. See a colour image of the gorgeous building with climber in the extras.
We're just back from a refined dinner at the Strathearn restaurant at Gleneagles, who knew you could get this satisfied but tired from dining ? ;-)
Thanks very much for your kind comments on yesterday's light through blinds and the AT96 results
