Tiny Tuesday: "In pieces, feeling the strain"
Thanks to JDO for hosting Tiny Tuesday this month, and for making the challenge open-themed.
This is....a jigsaw viewed through an antique silver tea strainer!
The shot came about accidentally. The window sill with the best natural light is currently being used for a jigsaw, and I had the idea that I could set up my kit there and use the jigsaw as a nicely out-of-focus background for whatever tiny thing I ended up shooting. When I was setting up to shoot the holes in the tea strainer, though, I noticed the effect when focused on the jigaw instead was rather nice. And it gives you that "hang on, what am I looking at?!" moment which I love about macro shots, so... :)
