Not Washington but Edinburgh

I have meant to take this for ages. It is an appropriate street name for right opposite the Scottish Parliament, but its origins will be a lot older than those of its American equivalent.

However as it is part of the ancient curtilige of Holyrood Palace it has probably seen a fair bit of skullduggery too.
