Sunflowers For Myra

Received news that my dear English soulmate, Myra Hilton, has been very ill and is in hospital in Manchester.  She and her husband, Doug, introduced my husband and me to the fine points of the Yorkshire countryside in 1998 after a long pen-pal relationship.  I visited her briefly in 2015 on my most recent trip and was saddened to see how frail she was. I fear she is in serious condition and the outlook is not good.  You can only imagine how glad I am that I saved many of her letters which are treasures and comprise a delightful collection of memories.
