Pool II

This shot from the other end illustrates the parallelogram nature of the pool. That ramp was easy enough to achieve first time around with paper-backed tiny mosaic tiles but absolutely fiendish with these big flat ones. It was only after I looked at this photo I realised that Spousie has laid the pattern incorrectly and we have a couple of the features I particularly hoped to avoid. No worries, he's forgiven, I don't know anyone else who could have got that angled slope as crisp! You can also see how massive the grey grout line becomes.
