Fields of Gold

I can't remember the last time there was oil seed rape in the field over the way. It's been winter wheat and barley for many years. I do remember people complaining the last time that oil seed rape makes hay fever worse but I've no idea if that's true (though I've been sneezing a bit today so who knows). The tide is very low just now but last year's reeds and grasses still look good.

It's been another beautiful day - much of it spent on childminding duties in the garden. Sandpit, picnic lunch, daisy chains and so on. Perfect.
