Today we said farewell to our colleague Lewis Brown.

Lewis resigned as a panel member to join the team on a temporary contract as we sought to build up the outward focus of the team, supporting the volunteers across Scotland.

That temporary nature has continued for just over 2 years and in addition to his work with Area Support Teams, he managed our annual recruitment drive and kept everyone informed.

Lewis decided to move back into managing charity funds and today was his last day. We wish him well. He did not want a fuss so we just had a small presentation and our in-house baking expert Laura made him a Brownie cake – which did not last long.
