Under her wing
Today I spent most of the day at Cosby air show, also known as the Victory Show. It is a mixture of beautiful planes, war re-enactments, stalls, military and civilian classic vehicles, and people young and old just having a good, nostalgic time. It always makes me smile to see those who would have been around during WW2, turn up to this event - it must bring back strong memories. Did I dress up? yes, I made the effort, but that wasn't hard as I have a fair bit of khaki, camo, and otherwise suitable attire, with a little artistic/dramatic license thrown in. Here we see people in the shade of the Dakota's wing (it has been a very hot weekend), with plenty of other action going on in the background. The Vulcan XH558 also put in an awesome appearance - I was so tempted to post of pic of her, but wanted to sum up the overall day in one picture.... so here it is!
