Final Obstacle

My beloved Woodloch was the location of the Warrior Dash this weekend.

Quiet pastoral lands with horses grazing provided a back drop to thousands of crazies, me included, running 5K through woods and swamps and over obstacles for fun.

And it was so fun. I didn't take many pictures. For one thing, I was covered with mud for the first hour. Our team volunteered to work in the beer tent but ended up in the gear tent for couple hours. After that, I was just too exhausted.

I did get a few pictures.

This one is of the long mud crawl right before the finish. And yes, I did crawl on my belly through the mud. This was taken at 4:00 in the afternoon. Our team went at 9:00 in the morning.

It was a lot deeper!
