The sun was shining so we all headed to Uppermill.

It was lovely, we got the train then walked from Greenfield along walls and popping seed pods.

Brunch in the eatery the girls have named 'The rainy day cafe'

Then we we went to the park for ice creams and fun...mainly dodging the rain!

Craft fair* and then water sqirting in the river.

*Under no circumstances did I have to bribe the girls with squirters to come to the craft fair :-)

D and the girls had a million laughs playing in the river and crossing the stepping stones while I searched for the elusive 'heart shaped river pebble'

Then cupcakes and a visit to the traditional sweet shop where D took them in for Wonka Bars! BLIP
