Stingray City

This is my youngest holding a stingray cow at Stingray City!

Since the sun was out early, so were we! We enjoyed some beach time and a morning snorkel before packing up and heading to the dock to meet Capt. Mario and the Acquarius Tours crew on Big John, for an afternoon trip to Stingray City, Starfish Point, and a snorkel stop in West Bay. 

Stingray City was crazy cool.  Lots of rays swimming everywhere.  Our guide was great with the animals and he's passionate about treating them with safely and respectfully.  I got lots of great underwater video at this stop. 

At the snorkel stop, Capt. Mario got the insane extra of my oldest swimming with the ray.  He said it was one of the coolest shots he's taken as a tour guide. The other extras are shots I took with the sportcam.  There's one of the ray and one of some reef pods from the morning snorkel.

The clouds moved in late in the afternoon but the rain held off until early evening.  Even though we tried to be diligent with the sunscreen, we all got a little sunburned on the water.
