Honesty pays off!
I'm proud to have Orange-tip butterflies breeding in my garden. They have loved the honesty, Lunaria annua, that is a bit more prolific this year, and I've found quite a few eggs over the last few days. The main photo shows an egg, about 0.5mm long, laid on a flower stalk. The eggs are green at first, but turn this lovely orange colour after a couple of days. The extra photo shows the location of this egg (far left) in relation to the most recent honesty flowers.
