Maytime

Finally, a nice sunny day in this area...and it must be May as there were clouds of mayflies along the path by the River Thames, where we were walking. I think this one is the Drake mackerel, Ephemera vulgata. The extra photo is something else I associate with early May, the Figwort weevil, Cionus scrophulariae.
