Taking a nap

A beautiful day again and warmer too without the nagging wind.
We went to the Uni for David to pick up some things he needed and for him to measure some of the walks so he can plan displaying his work for the 'emerge' exhibition showing their years final work.
We went down to the Lochan to see if the swan eggs had hatched. She was sitting tight and fast asleep. The male swan was on the other side preening and looking very elegant with the sun on his feathers. Also saw an osprey flying overhead being harrassed by a crow.
We, David,Mike and myself then went to see the play 'The Woman in Black' at Eden Court. Very good, a few moments that made people jump :)
Over the river to The Waterside where we had High tea. A drive down the side of the Beauly Firth that was shimmering in the sun.We watched a Red Kite swooping over the mudflats. The tide was a long way out.
We had a walk up to the castle ruins. Wood anemones and the bluebells were just starting to come into bloom. A lovely warm walk.
Back home, Richard is at a wedding reception in Aviemore  and wo nt be back home till late.
