Thursday and finally explored Instow - only a few hundred metres away. But a fifteen minute drive. Nice, sleepy place. Good beach, good dunes and the Royal Marines playing with their hovercraft.
Back in Appledore, we wondered what happened if we took the coast path in the other direction. Boatyards and semi-industrial, it turns out.

Then run along Westward Ho!'s beach. That punctuation just looks wrong. And hot choc in the bath and beer on the balcony.

Oh, and I bought a 2nd hand MacBook on eBay. The home PC moves at a pace that would embarrass a glacier. And I don't like Windows 10 anyway. So I've turned to the expensive side.
