Welcome moth

This small magpie moth came to look at my new shed today when the paint was hardly dry. I take it as a good omen. It is quite a large moth despite being classified amongst the micro-moths and has become a regular in my garden, breeding I think on the woundwort and mints. The almost finished shed can be seen as an extra photo - if this dull, cold weather keeps up I might finish it, rather than getting distracted by wildlife!
