Backblip

Even though it was a beautiful morning, I made the most of the only lie in I'm going to get for a while.   

Once organised, we headed to Ele and Kenny's for a BBQ.  First one of the summer.   We were joined by Andrew and Nikki, Nikki's mum Avis and Nikki's dog Lexi.   

This was the first time I'd met Lexi and she is adorable.  A greyhound who thinks she's a lap dog!  :-))  David watched us all petting her before she ate a sausage, had a drink of cool water then flopped down on the shaded grass for a snooze and declared he's definitely coming back as a dog in his next life :-))

Delicious BBQ washed down with Rose wine spritzers.  We sat in the garden from 3pm till 8pm and it was so lovely to enjoy the fresh air for so long.  

Home by 10pm, in bed by 11pm and out like a light till 8am.   I must sit outside for hours more often!

Nikki was desperate for me to get a photo of Lexi with her eyes open, ears up and looking alert.  Lexi had other ideas.  See extras :-)
