Delegation

Son1 expressed a mild, passing interest in cooking dinner so I leapt upon it and here we have his macaroni cheese with ham and sweetcorn. A triumph in more ways than one!

In other news, I was talking to a friend outside the pet shop today when a woman came out of the shop and said, "I hope you don't mind me interrupting but I'd like to ask you something". I said, "No, of course not" while glancing shiftily over to my car, wondering if I'd boxed her in or something. She continued, "I just caught a waft of your perfume and wondered what it is as it's so pretty". Well, it's Clinique Happy and, as I said to her, it's reassuring to know that she noticed that rather than my Eau de chien :)
