Sky's the limit

I went on a Sky Ride in Southampton today with some of the Easy Riders. I managed to hold up the start due to getting lost in the city... it turns out I can't read a map without my glasses any more :\ Think I'll have to finally give in and get Satnav. I've been to Southampton many, many times over the years but only to see the (my) football team play and also a couple of visits to Ikea. Other than that though it's unchartered territory for me and, I have to say, today I saw some really nice parts of it. We did a very pleasant on and off road route with a pit stop at a hotel in the middle for coffee and the traditional pub stop afterwards where we sat outside in the beer garden and had lunch.

One guy we passed said, "Oh look, it's the Sky Team". First time I've been mistaken for Bradley Wiggins; must be the sideburns ;)
