Venice At Sunset

We arrived at Marco Polo airport in the early evening and caught the waterbus to the city centre. As we crossed the lagoon we were treated to the most marvellous sunset.

The last (and only other) time we came to Venice was on a day trip from nearby Lido de Jesolo 42 or 43 years ago (we honestly can't remember exactly) and that was the day I asked Tess to marry me.

We thought it was safe to come back again now!
