The Globe Theatre...

...last evening as we left after a wonderful performance of Romeo and Juliet. We had booked seats in the same area as on our last visit and although the view of the stage was very slightly obscured, we saw all the action clearly...and were also able to watch the"yardlings"..those who stand to watch, very well...as seen in my extra. 

We got up to Southbank in time to walk from Embankment to the theatre and the sun had come out by then on an otherwise dull and chilly day. We took blankets for the evening and needed them.

Again, good connections on the homeward journey using a very modern Blackfriars station and the overground.
