Whitstible harbour..

...today, busy with boats, colour and people...and more sunshine.

A really good day with friends, beginning here, then onto Oare and a wonderful meal out on the patio of a favourite restaurant. 

After lunch we walked for several miles along the meandering Thames estuary overlooking the Isle of Sheppey. Very quiet and peaceful with just enough breeze to keep us comfortable.

Home in time to enjoy 'just sitting' time, looking at photos and reading journals. No more food needed before tomorrow!

My extra is of other boats, surely once as colourful and productive as those in the harbour.
