Clematis

I've always quite liked clematis but never been that successful at growing them.  This one has settled in nicely, clambering over the mid-garden wall  - just need to keep the ivy and laurel away from it.

Meanwhile, the azalea that I had to do some fairly drastic surgery on to get it back into shape and de-brambled is profusely shouting PINK at any- and every- thing that passes; see extras.
