Birthday celebrations

C is 11 tomorrow. A and I have work all day, C and D have school all day so we brought his celebrations forward by a day. So presents were opened, a happy boy with his new stunt scooter - and yes, I do remember the knee injury :-D We all headed to the national flight museum at East Fortune to their war day. The boys (all three of them) had a fab time playing tank war games and admiring planes, running the assault course and watching a war reenactment. I had a fab time getting my hair and make-up done 1940s style. We're not stereotypical - honest :-D
C's choice of restaurant for his birthday meal out was Nando's, so we headed there afterwards and completed the peri-peri sauce challenge. None of us had been before except C - he loved taking us.
