From In The Lake

Took this while I was swimming in the lake tonight. I as hoping to catch some of the swans that usually swim with us but they were few and far between.
I took Harriet for her first lake swim. I've been teaching her to swim. She entered a triathlon with hardly any swimming ability. Six weeks down the line and she's ready for lake swimming. It is very different to pool swimming.
I'll then have to get her out in the sea. Her triathlon is in Barcelona and it's a sea swim. I've got until September to get her ready. She's done brilliantly so far.
I also had my hands x-rayed today. I'm suffering with pain around the base of my thumbs. Probably arthritis. Hope not as that's here to stay.
